Meet the Owner – Andy Long
Starting a career in the pest industry over 21 years ago, Andy had no idea that one day it would lead him to opening his own company. In early spring of 2019, that is exactly what he did. After spending years working for a company more concerned with their bottom line, Andy knew that Flippin’ Bugs would prosper by focusing on customer satisfaction. He strives to understand the client’s individual needs and finds a specific solution to their pest concerns.
Andy spent most of his adolescence in Delhi before moving to Rayville in 1990. He is a graduate of Riverfield Academy, where his three children now attend. Andy and his wife, Devan, spend much of their spare time traveling to watch and cheer on their children in various sports activities.
Andy has received several certifications from the National Pest Management Association- GreenPro & QuailtyPro, Mosquito Abatement Program, Purdue University- Center for Urban and Industrial Pest Management, Texas A&M University- Termite Biology, LSU Agricultural Center- Lois Caffey Master Termite, Integrated Pest Management, Good Manufacturing Practices and AIB Food Safety.
